not always enforced. Our career transition service is for
individuals who want help to move forward and develop. It’s also
for employers who want to help staff make a successful move to
another area of the organisation or feel they could perform more
effectively, for the benefit of the department or the organisation
as a whole.

Resettlement
For those in
occupations such as the military or police officers leaving
service often comes much earlier than for most organisations.
Additionally working within what may be a tightly structured and
disciplined environment can offer challenges for those adjusting
to working within a less formal culture. Affinity trainers are
very experienced in helping those experiencing this change to
adapt quickly and successfully, helping them not only to make the
change but build a new career.

Many
individuals have limited knowledge and understanding of personal
financial issues and as a result fail to make the most of their
finances. Our financial planning presentations are designed to
raise awareness of the options and savings which can be made with
careful planning.

Courses
“I hadn’t
had the time to think about it”
The
programmes we run for Senior Managers and Directors reflect their
status. Although many of the issues they face are the same as
anyone their needs may in many ways be more complex and often they
are too busy focusing on supporting staff to spare the time to
consider their own position.
Open Courses
– A complimentary public sector service
We
coordinate spare places on the thousands of courses we organise
and deliver for public sector employers and make them available to
staff from other public sector departments.
This can be
particularly useful if you have small numbers of staff located in
a wide range of geographical areas as it offers them a wide choice
of dates and locations.

Administrative Support for the employer
Affinity’s experienced administration team can provide the
following support:-
· Issue
personal course invitations and joining instructions either direct
to the delegates or through the employer
· Accept
self-nominations direct from delegates (online, phone, fax, email,
post or website)
· Provide
signed delegate lists and course evaluation/feedback forms and
reports for the employer
· Arrange
venues/catering
· Pay
for venues/catering at point of booking and re-invoice the
employer
· We
are happy to consider any other requests to assist in the smooth
running and delivery of this service
